$1 million MC-led initiative unites area
agencies, groups in Eel River clean-up

A coalition of Manchester College, Wabash and Miami county conservation agencies, and at least 17 other groups are embarking on a $1 million initiative to improve the water quality of a 30-mile stretch of the Eel River.

The collaboration is an outgrowth of Eel River fish research by MC students and faculty and leadership by biologist Dr. Jerry Sweeten ’75, director of environmental studies. … more


$100,000 grant helps College identify,
keep first-generation students

Manchester College will use a $100,000 Wal-Mart College Success Award in a nationwide initiative to increase the number of first-generation college graduates.

Lewis Cass coach Scott Mannering ’79 to receive Wolfe award at Homecoming

Coach of the Year Scott Mannering '79The M Association will honor S. Scott Mannering ’79 as its 2008 Claude Wolfe Coach of the Year at Homecoming on Oct.11.
